Cajun Navy Ground Force is a hybrid media and disaster response organization. We utilize social media as a story-telling tool to raise awareness, funds and volunteers. As many of our followers already know over the years we have recorded over 1000 LIVE videos of our boots on the ground work across numerous disasters. Our goal is to protect and stabilize veterans, elderly, disabled and other vulnerable victims in crisis after a natural disaster. The more people who see our work, the more people who show up to help.
Until now, all of our videos have been buried in a single feed. We have wanted to group all of our LIVE Videos into playlists for easy consumption for a while. So we have taken the time to group our LIVE videos by the disaster where they were filmed. You will see the year, the disaster name and how many videos we’ve located on our Facebook page for that event. We have a LOT more to get loaded, but this is a good beginning. Disasters range from Hurricane Laura in 2020 through Rolling Fork in 2023. We worked in 5 different states, Louisiana, Kentucky, Colorado, Mississippi and Florida in the past 3 years. It’s just the beginning though. We invite you to remember, we don’t respond to weather disasters. We respond to citizens in crisis, weather disaster are responsible for millions every year facing the worst days of their lives and need assistance for long after the event passes.
